ALS Identify welcomes Metal Masters into the fold

ALS Identify is pleased to announce our strategic acquisition of Metal Masters; an established, Irish based conveyor manufacturer, specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of conveyors and conveyor systems.

This decision comes at a pivotal time for our business and we believe it marks the beginning of an exciting time and a powerful partnership for both our teams and for all of our customers. This development will offer continued growth and enhanced capabilities for our services combined.

Metal Masters design, manufacture and custom build conveyor systems to suit customers’ individual requirements. Their team brings over 30 years of experience and expertise to the table; production managers and engineers from every industrial sector will have benefited from their expert advice and personalised manufacturing consultancy service over the years.

The Metal Masters business, brand and team will be integrated into ALS Identify’s Group of Businesses. Please be advised that from January 2024 both Metal Masters and ALS Identify’s businesses, teams and all associated services will be jointly relocating together to: Unit 6, Plato Business Park, Damastown, Mulhuddart, Dublin, D15 FW40.

ALS Identify have purchased a larger, new premises to accommodate our growth. Our new location in Plato Business Park will have a modern detached warehouse and office facility with 12,000k sq ft capacity. This new premises will more than triple our existing workshop and office space, allowing us to continue our ongoing expansion. The additional workshop space will enable larger and more complex labelling, identification and conveyor systems to be developed and further R&D. It will give us the space to recruit additional engineers and grow our inhouse expertise so we can expand our offering.

We are excited about this new chapter and believe this will enable us to serve you better. Our commitment to your satisfaction remains our top priority.

Covid-19 Restricted Work Pratice

As per the recent Government restriction to work, we have updated our advisory note as per below, this form will need to be filled out and signed prior to any work commencing.

We will be restricting our work to specifically prioritize our customers in essential services category. We will continue to work in-house on machine builds and attend site to support our customers under the following criteria only:

  • Customer needs to declare they are an essential service.
  • Customer needs to declare that the visit is essential for their production.
  • Customer needs to declare that social distancing is being practiced & enforced.

It is our responsibility to protect our employees, and to reassure both customers/suppliers and the vulnerable in our community that we are acting in a responsible manner, we are asking all our employees to follow proper hand hygiene, strictly practice social distancing, avoid public transport, avoid handling money wherever possible. Stay at home other than for sustenance & to support essential services.

ALS Labelling Solutions Covid 19 advisory V2

ALS Covid 19 Advisory Note

ALS Labelling Solutions wish to advise all our customers, suppliers and friends, that in light of the current global pandemic of coronavirus, we are taking the following actions.

 

All staff where possible will be asked to work from home – our central IT system is cloud based, none of our administrative functionality will be compromised. The only possible effect may be that anyone calling directly to our landline will now be diverted to a mobile number. As a result, having access to multiple lines will now be restricted, however all messages left & emails sent will be checked and responded to in a timely manner. Our fax machine will only be checked periodically.

All our engineers will work as normal and are available for both onsite visits and in-house to work on machine builds etc. At present our lead times will not be impacted by these events.

 

But as it is our responsibility to protect our employees, and to reassure both customers/suppliers and the vulnerable in our community that we are acting in a responsible manner, we are asking all our employees to follow proper hand hygiene, avoid unnecessary social contact, avoid public transport, avoid handling money wherever possible.

 

We will also be asking our engineers to send out this form  (see below Link) in advance of any site visits. We would like to request that this form is signed in advance (by the most senior member of management available) and ready at reception on our arrival.
